Efuah Moments

Privacy Policy

Efuah Moments is a private event-media service operated by Catcent Corporation. This policy explains the information processed when event owners create a Moment, invite guests, collect photos and videos, unlock an album, or download event media, and when guests join and contribute to an event.

Information we process

Account information. We process information such as an account holder's name, email address, authentication records, profile information, and account status.

Event information. Event owners provide details such as an event name, type, date, description, venue or city, invitation settings, and album preferences.

Guest information. Guests provide a display name and record their acceptance of the event contribution terms. The service also maintains event-scoped guest-session and access information.

Event media. We process uploaded photos, videos, filenames, file types, sizes, media metadata, previews, contributor associations, moderation state, favorites, and export requests.

Technical and security information. We process service logs, request and device information made available by hosting infrastructure, security events, rate-limit identifiers, upload status, and diagnostic information needed to protect and operate the service.

Payments and transactional email

Stripe processes the one-time event-album purchase. Efuah Moments records payment identifiers, status, price, amount, currency, refund, and dispute information needed to confirm album access and provide support. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by Efuah Moments.

Supabase may deliver account confirmation and password-recovery messages. Resend is used for transactional export notifications. These messages are service communications, not promotional subscriptions.

How information is used

Information is used to:

  • create and secure accounts and private event Moments;
  • issue invitations and recognize returning guests;
  • receive, validate, organize, moderate, and display media;
  • process album purchases and maintain album access;
  • prepare private downloads and ZIP archives;
  • send essential account and export notifications;
  • prevent abuse, enforce access controls, and investigate failures;
  • provide support and understand service operation.

Private events, access, and sharing

Event media is stored in private storage. Guests access an event through its invitation link, QR code, or event code and an event-scoped session. Event owners can manage invitations, close uploads, block guests, moderate contributions, and access media for their own events. Original media and generated archives are provided through time-limited signed links after authorization.

Anyone who receives a valid invitation may be able to join the associated event, so owners and guests should not publish or forward private invitation links, codes, or download links unless they intend to provide that access.

Service providers and processing locations

Efuah Moments uses Cloudflare for application delivery, Supabase for authentication, database, and private storage services, Stripe for payment processing, Railway for archive processing, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information for their respective service functions and may operate infrastructure in more than one country.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained while needed to operate an account or event, provide purchased album access, maintain security and transaction records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable obligations. Generated ZIP archives expire separately from original event media. Deleting an event makes it and its guest invitation inaccessible and places associated information into the service's retention and cleanup process rather than immediately erasing every record or stored object.

Security

The service uses private storage, scoped authorization, encrypted transport, signed links, token protection, rate limits, restricted server credentials, and operational logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect account credentials and private event links.

Your choices

Account owners can update profile and event details, manage guest access and uploads, moderate event media, download available content, and request event deletion through the product. Guests can choose whether to join an event and what permitted content to contribute. Additional access, correction, deletion, or support requests can be made through Efuah Moments, subject to identity and event-ownership verification and any applicable requirements.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the service changes. The updated date on this page will identify the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or an account message when appropriate.
